The Records Division of the Grand County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for processing, maintaining, retrieving, and releasing information and copies of reports in accordance with federal and state statutes.
To request a record, please print and fill out our online Records Request Form. This can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, faxed to 970-725-3227 or brought directly to the office. You must send or bring a copy of your photo identification with your request.
Requests are generally met within three business days. It may take longer depending on the amount of research taken to pull the report together.
The records processing and search fee is $5 for records up to 10 pages and additional pages cost $0.25 per page.
