NOTICE:

PURSUANT TO 6CCR 1007-2 PART 1 REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO SOLID WASTE (SECTION 2.5.3) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE LANDFILLS ARE SCHEDULED TO CLOSE ON OR AFTER JANUARY 1, 2010.

 

The Granby Landfill may remain open until early spring 2010 under its current hours/rates and the Kremmling Landfill may be open after January 1, 2010 on Saturdays only from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Both landfills will close to coincide with the Transfer Station opening.

We do not accept TVs and computers from any commercial source.

Automotive

Motor Oil and Car Batteries are recycled free of charge.


In order for the Grand County Landfills (Granby and Kremmling) to remain compliant with State of Colorado standards, certain wastes must be prohibited while others must be removed from the waste stream and recycled.

There will be a state user fee added to each cubic yard load. 10¢ per car, 20¢ for truck or trailer per load , 30¢/yd. for commercial.

There will be a state user fee of $1.00 per ton to each tonnage load.


Senior Citizen Discount

Seniors are allowed to drop off up to 4 cubic yds. of normal household trash per month at no charge. Contact your local landfill for further information.
