REQUEST FOR BID
Grand County is accepting bids to add additional electrical outlets in the Clerk and Recorder’s Office, located in the Grand County Administrative Building, 308 Byers Avenue, Hot Sulphur Springs, CO 80451. All work shall be in compliance with State electrical codes. Outlets shall be provided in those locations depicted on the plans and described in the Scope of Work. Interested bidders may obtain the Scope of Work, Plans and a copy of Grand County’s Construction Contract by clicking on the links below.
Sealed bids must be received by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018.
Work in the Clerk and Recorder’s Office shall be performed after regular business hours or on the weekends, unless otherwise authorized by the County Clerk & Recorder. All work will be scheduled and coordinated with the Clerk & Recorder’s Office prior to commencement of work.
Bids will be presented to the Board of County Commissioners for their consideration on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 during their regularly scheduled Meeting. Successful bidder shall enter into a Construction Contract with Grand County. No work shall commence until BOCC execution of the Construction Contract.
Grand County reserves the right to reject any and all bids or cancel this request for bid and any options within. The low bid may not be the winning bid. Bidders with a business address within the Middle Park area are considered “local contractors” and will be afforded a five (5) percent local contractor preference computed off the low bid amount. Summit County is part of Middle Park.
