This

of the Grand County Sheriff's Office will not change. We will

law enforcement through well-trained employees, technology, crime
prevention and a proactive approach to public safety.
The Records Division of the Grand County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for processing, maintaining, retrieving and releasing information
and copies of reports in accordance with federal and state statutes. Hours are Monday- Friday from 8:00-5:00, excluding holidays.

This can be faxed to us at 970-725-3227 or brought directly to the office.
Requests are generally met within 3 days. It may take longer depending on the amount of research taken to pull the report together.
Records processing and Search fee: $5.00 for records up to ten (10) pages, additional pages at $.25 per page.

The Grand County Sheriff’s Department will fingerprint for reasons including, but not limited to the following:
• Adoption
• Foster Care
• Employment
• Licenses(daycare, real estate, liquor, etc.)
• Security Clearance
• All School Employees
Hours: Monday through Friday, except holidays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Location: Sheriff’s Department at 670 Spring Street, Hot Sulphur Springs.
Appointments: Not necessary. This is a first come, first serve basis. There may be a
waiting time for service, depending on the
jail’s schedule at the time.
Fee: $10.00
You must present a valid driver’s license, or other secure verifiable photo I.D. prior to being fingerprinted.
