Public Affairs & Communication

Public Affairs & Communication works with the Board of County Commissioners, County Manager and all county departments to coordinate communications internally and externally, ensuring both consistency and transparency.

Public Affairs & Communication is responsible for the following: 

  • Managing Grand County's website and social media;
  • drafting press releases and public announcements;
  • oversees Grand County's brand and its use; 
  • coordinates county communications both internally and externally;
  • creates and distributes all county newsletters;
  • provides management support with strategic planning and messaging; and  
  • promotes all County endeavours.
