Mission Statement
The Mountain Medical Response Team will provide trained personnel and equipment for emergency patient care and transport in a situation or location not accessible by ambulance and will perform other special operations as directed.
The main goal of MMRT is to perform the medical component of a backcountry rescue while SAR teams complete the technical side. We have specialized gear, equipment and training that will help us assist local search and rescue operations. Some of the areas of training include: Avalanche Awareness, Land Navigation, Firearms Awareness, Snowmobile/ATV Operations, Wildland Firefighting, TEMS and HAZMAT Operations to name a few.
