Services Available

The Grand County Administration Building is open and we continue to serve our citizens.  In accordance with Executive Order D 2020 110, "to better protect employees of Government Offices and Facilities and the public that they serve and to avoid a public health hazard, Government Offices and Facilities must require and enforce, as a condition of ingress or movement within such locations, that all employees who interact in close proximity with other employees or with the public and all members of the public must wear medical or non-medical face coverings that cover the nose and mouth, except where doing so would inhibit that individual’s health or where law enforcement or physical identification verification functions would be inhibited by wearing a mask."

The Clerk and Recorder continues to provide motor vehicle, vital records, real estate recording, and voter services. See below:

Motor Vehicle Services:

  • Many motor services and driver license services can be completed on‐line at www.mydmv.colorado.gov
  • Appointments are required for titling a vehicle.  (New ownership)  Call 970-725-3065.
  • If you have paid off a loan with on your vehicle but cannot get the lien released, the FDIC may be able to help https://www.fdic.gov/resources/resolutions/bank-failures/failed-bank-list/lien/. (The FDIC is not a county entity.)
