Public Health

Grand County Public Health is dedicated to promoting and protecting the health of Grand County residents and visitors, through the utilization of effective education, prevention, monitoring, referral and community collaboration strategies.


Grand County Public Health provides Provide Public Health, Senior Nutrition, and Home Care services to Grand County. Those services include:

  • Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), 
  • Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR),
  • Core Public Health services, 
  • Communicable Disease Surveillance, 
  • Immunizations, 
  • Maternal Child Health, 
  • Nurse Consulting for Licensed Child Care Providers, 
  • Health Education, 
  • Communities that Care (CTC), 
  • Consumer Protection, 
  • Non-Medical Home Care (Homemaking and Personal Care Services), 
  • Senior Nutrition Congregate Meals, 
  • and Mom’s Meals home-delivered meal programs.
