County Manager and staff assist in directing and coordinating the administration of county government in accordance with the policies determined by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) and coordinates through the Appointed Officials the day to day operations and functions of the organization perform duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Facilitates and collaborates special projects with municipal, special districts, state and federal entities.
The County Manager's Office is responsible for scheduling all BOCC Meetings, Special Meetings, preparing weekly BOCC Meeting agendas, preparing and coordinating all info and written correspondence as requested by BOCC, and coordinating all departmental information for the BOCC and Public via electronic Box.
The Executive Assistant schedules all County Manager and BOCC Meetings with the Public and Departments, travel and accommodation, and is responsible for County Board of Equalization Hearing Process on behalf of the BOCC.
County Manager's Office is responsible for all original contracts and agreements signed by the BOCC and file management.
