Board of Equalization referees needed

The Grand County Board of Equalization (BOE) is seeking experienced local appraisers interested in serving as referees to assist in hearing and rendering opinions on real and personal property tax appeals. Referees consider evidence presented by both the property owner petitioner and the assessor’s office and render professional opinion for BOE consideration.

Applicant must be a Colorado-licensed appraiser with experience working for an assessor’s office, board of equalization or other administrative tax appeal board in the State of Colorado. The applicant must also be available to serve in-person as a referee the business days of July 1-Aug. 3). Pay is $100/hr.
