The Animal Pickup Lists are posted
Wednesday thru Saturday.
It is very important that you search for your lost pet in person. Our
shelter’s holding time is five days, which include holidays
and weekends.
Call the shelter at (970) 887-2988 for more information
or if you believe your lost pet is listed below.
The main goal of the Shelter is to attempt
to find each unique animal a home. All animals
will have been spayed or neutered.
Adoption fees
range from $30 to $75 and include rabies vaccine and
county tags. The difference in the fees charged
depends
upon whether an animal comes in with current
rabies and/or county tags. If the animal has tags,
the cost is less.
If you are interested in adopting an animal, there are two
requirements that must be met.
-
You must be 18 years of age or older with a valid
ID.
-
If you are a renter, we must have a letter of
permission from the property owner indicating that it is OK for
you to adopt
and keep a pet on the premises.
